The hottest new retail store opened to the public Saturday Feb. 2.  What is it ?, it’s about time! A new Harley Davidson store on the west side of the metro area.

 

At 9:05am on Saturday you were barely able to walk around inside the store, full of enthusists who had just been waiting for the new Eden Prairie Harley Davidson store to open.  Traffic was a constant flow of people all day coming and going through the store.  Many to just see the store, many to meet old friends, many to gaze at the shiny new 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycles.

 

Wild Prairie Harley Davidson/Buell located at 12480 Plaza Drive, the former home of  LaMettrys Collision Center, has been renovated to meet all the many great standards of Harley Davidson. 

 

Wild Prairie is owned by Tom and Melanie Giannetti.  The Gianneti’s also own St. Paul Harley Davidson/Buell.  When they saw  a need to have a store on the west side of the twin Cities they created an another very welcoming location for enthusiast to come, shop for HD T Shirts, after market accessories or have service done to the pride and joy of many. 

 

As you venture towards the entrance there is a patio area with a firepit where guests can mingle, hang out and talk about where to ride to next. 

 

To many of us Motorcycle Enthusiast this is a very welcome new addition to Eden Prairie. This does mean more motorcycle traffic coming and going to the dealership and the area.  I would ask all to be extra alert to motorcycles on the roadways.  After all we have rights too.
